Our Services Offered

We offer a thorough evaluation of your problem. We offer plenty of time to talk to the doctor. We don’t overbook new patients and as a new patient you will get all the time you need to talk to the doctor.

We offer a strong commitment to find out what is causing your pain: degenerative discs, arthritis, pinched or inflamed nerve, torn disc, herniated disc, spinal stenosis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, poor circulation (atherosclerosis), scar tissue, Complex Pain Syndrome, et al.

Targeted solutions to your specific chronic pain problem:

Injections: Fluoroscopically (Live X-Ray)

Using fluoroscopy and ultrasound imaging, we see where we inject for better accuracy and safety. Why get an injection without seeing where the needle is going? You will never receive a blind injection from us.

Fluoroscopically (live X-ray) guided spinal injections: you can see where the medication is going, improves accuracy and safety of treatment and is the gold standard for spinal injections. You will never receive a blind injection from us.

  • epidural steroids (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
  • facet joints (joints of the spine)
  • selective nerve root block (lumbar)
  • sacroiliac joint injection
  • radiofrequency ablation for long lasting relief of facet pain
  • discography (dye in a disc)
  • Percutaneous microdiscectomy (for herniated discs)
  • spinal cord stimulation
Injections: Ultrasound Guided Peripheral (Outside of the Spine)

Using fluoroscopy and ultrasound imaging, we see where we inject for better accuracy and safety. Why get an injection without seeing where the needle is going? You will never receive a blind injection from us.

Ultrasound guided joint fluid aspirations and injections (any joint that hurts: knee, shoulder, hip, wrist, elbow, ankle, and smaller joints of hands and feet). You will never receive a blind injection from us.

Ultrasound guided nerve injections:

  • carpal tunnel syndrome
  • trigger point injections (can see tiny muscles twitching under ultrasound that are too small to feel with the fingers)
Physiotherapy

Horizontal therapy: a kind of passive physical therapy. Backed by evidence based medicine. Feels truly comforting while it works and is covered by insurance. Extends the duration of relief from injections and reverses muscle atrophy/loss. 80% of patients who use it enjoy significant improvement. Our patients frequently fall asleep it feels so good!

Spinal Cord Stimulation

Spinal Cord Stimulation is an implantable system that uses pleasant vibration sensations to mask painful sharp shooting pains from a variety of causes that have not been successfully treated with other methods. Spinal cord stimulation is used for pain that has failed injections or surgery. Spinal cord stimulation is most often used in “failed back surgery syndrome”. Spinal cord stimulation has also been used to save feet from amputation in diabetics and others with bad circulation and to save heart muscle from heart disease that can’t be operated on.

Tests

Injections: diagnose as well as treat the cause of pain (see Injections section for more information.)

Arterial studies: using ultrasound. Quick and painless screening for atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) that can cause leg pain. If you are a diabetic, have high blood pressure, or smoke, we may find that some or all of your leg or foot pain is coming from atherosclerosis and not from your spine. Save the facility fee, costs 75% less than same test done in the hospital.

Ultrasound guided musculo-skeletal exams: tears, inflammation, fluid, cysts. Save the facility fee, costs much less than same test done in the hospital.
